Great all around reel

You can use this reel for just about anything.
Its super light and super strong.
Also comes with 2 spools, cant beat that.
The drag is the best ive ever had as well. I fish for just about everything and this reel has caught 30 lb blues all the way down to bluegill with ease.
Never has a single issue with it.

I purchased this reel about a week and a half ago. I looked at the reel at the store and just could not get over how light the reel was. I had a Quantum reel that I hated so I wanted to get a smooth reel, light strong reel that will last. I can't say anything about its durability yet, But I love it so far. Caught two bass one that weighed 5 lb & one over 6. Brought them in no problem.
I would give this reel 5 stars except I have only had it a short time.

To me, this is the ultimate ultra-light spinning reel. Yes, it's expensive but in this case, worth every penny. I fully expect this reel to outlast me!
It is by far the nicest reel I have ever owned.

Good Quaility

I bought the 9535, took it out today, very smooth, and has some power, drag works very well, so far I am very pleased, the second spool was able to add a lot more line than what it stated- I spooled the carbon spool with 75 yards of 6 lb mono backing, and 150 yards of nanofill.
I paired it up with avid series St. Croix spinning rod med action, and turns out to be a great combo.

Awesome reel

I used a 9525x for a season. The reel is ultimately lightweight. And the truth is there is no other reel in the world with such a low weight. Even for 1k bucks.
After a season of heavy use the reel is not so smooth, I think it just needs some lube. Overall, I would recommend a 9530 as a minimum size, as 9525 is too small to be smooth by construction.
Great reel. Daiwa and Shimano should do something fast or they lose the market.

I have a Patriarch 9535 on a carbon lite dropshot rod, and it is a really nice reel. Been using it for a couple months and it is still smooth as butter.
Buy one, you will not regret it!

Smooth as Silk Reel

You will not find a smoother cranking spinning reel. Mine spooled with 20 lb brand and mounted on a 7' ft rod. Great casting distance on all types of crankbaits and plastics.
Buy it, you will be glad you did.

Great Reel

Purchased this reel last year and matched it up to a Lamiglas drop shot rod. Used the rod and reel all summer and fall while I drop shotted in 175 feet of water for Lake Trout in Priest Lake using braided line, fluorocarbon leader, 1 oz sinker and Gulp bait. Limited out every day and the rod and reel performed without fail. Smooth drag, nice looking, nice bail and very comfortable in the hand. Efforless to reel. Handled every fish I caught and only lost fish due to line breakage.
Will buy another this season for sure

Amazing Reel

I wanted to use this reel all summer before I wrote a review so I could give a true review on how it performed. One word. AMAZING! I bought the 9530 paired with a st.croix mojo bass wacky style rod. Been throwin a lot of senkos this summer! Man this reel has caught some bass. The drag was so smooth when fighting with a big one. Cast like a dream. Reel is silky smooth right out the box. Never had ANY trouble with it. The finish is great. This thing just looks awesome! Light as a feather! You will NOT regret buying this reel.
If you buy this reel, you are going to love it.
Trust me.
